The unified annual condolence procession of the servants of the two holy shrines to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of the Commander of the Faithful; Ali Ibn Abi Taleb (peace be upon both of them).

The unified annual condolence procession of the servants of the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and of his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) launched on Wednesday afternoon the 21st of the holy month of Ramadhan 1439 AH corresponding to June 6, 2018, led by many officials and employees of the two holy shrines, to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of the Dragonfly of Religion, the best of the creation after the Holy Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household) the Commander of the Faithful; Ali Ibn Abi Taleb (peace be upon both of them), and to extend their condolences to Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) on this sad occasion.

The procession, which was preceded by the symbolic coffin of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him), started from the holy shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) passing by the area between the two holy shrines, and chanting slogans and sad poems that expresses the sad impact on this tragedy on the hearts of believers and lovers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them). One they arrived to the holy shrine of the Master of martyrs; Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), they were received by their fellows' the servants of the Imam al-Hussayn's (p) holy shrine where a condolence and mourning Majlis was held to commemorate this tragedy with sad poems and elegies.

On the other hand, the processions in the holy city of Karbala began to flock to the two holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and of his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) to extend their condolences to them, according to a systematic program prepared by the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of the Imam of the pious and the Master of the believers (peace be upon him).
