The al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine distributes food baskets to the martyrs' families of the popular mobilization during the holy month of Ramadhan.

As part of its program of supporting the families of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the sake of Iraq and its sanctities, and in honor of their blood in this holy month of Ramadhan, the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine represented by the Religious Affairs Department, has distributed, like usual in every year, food baskets for the martyrs' families of the popular mobilization and the needy families in the holy province of Karbala.

This basket of food contains a range of food needed by the believers when fasting in this holy month, and this distribution operation is part of a large and comprehensive program that includes the organization of consecutive visits to the wounded and the families of martyrs in all regions of Iraq without exception, in order to communicate with them, fill their needs and give them the attention and honor that Is worthy of the sacrifices of their children. This program was launched in response to the directives of the supreme religious authority in contributing to alleviating burdens of these families.

It is noteworthy that the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has prepared a special program to honor the martyrs' families since the inception of the fatwa of the sufficient duty for jihad and to this day. It worked to honor and care of thousands of families to sustain the momentum against the criminal gangs.
