An evening meeting of a group of media and officials of the al-Wafa' Campaign at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine.

On Tuesday evening, 27th of the holy month of Ramadhan 1439 AH corresponding to June 12, 2018 in the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine a meeting was held between a number of Iraqi journalists and the officials of the humanitarian al-Wafa' campaign launched by the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and carried out by the al-Abbas's (p) Fighting Squad.

This evening was preceded by a number of activities starting by a visit to the AlKafeel Museum of treasures and AlKafeel Center for Artistic Production and live broadcast, then praying Maghreb and Isha prayers and breaking fast with the Senior Official of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine; His Eminence Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, who stressed during the meeting on the need to address the events in their real size through the media and stay away from the hype and amplification, stressing the need to do the duty of the media, which is the transfer of the true and real image of facts, and deliver to the world the space of hope that our country has in many areas by highlighting our national identity in all media.

Adding: "The national role and creative Iraqi competencies must be highlighted as they deserve to be proud of, and we must be productive in building the country and avoid problems. Stressing on the need to commemorate the heroic role of the volunteers of the Fatwa of the sacred defense and give the appropriate attention to the martyrs' families and the wounded, because they made great sacrifices in preserving the dignity and security of Iraq. The media discourse should effectively contribute in the peaceful coexistence in the society."

And an open dialogue session was held for an hour and a half with the officials of the al-Wafa' campaign, led by Mr. Maytham al-Zaidi, discussing the most important goals and achievements of this campaign that started from Basra and arrived in Mosul.

It is worth mentioning that the aim of this evening is to enable the media to see closely and be briefed of the achievements of the humanitarian al-Wafa campaign launched by the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and carried out by the Abbas's (p) fighting Squad, as well as the achievements of the construction, service, intellectual and cultural projects of the holy shrine.

The guests have expressed their appreciation of their tour. And the journalist Ala' al-Hattab stated to Al-Kafeel Network the following: "We are very impressed by the efforts made by the Holy Shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) to promote the urban and service reality in the country. And as media professionals, we are aware of the great progress of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine at all levels, which indicates the existence of wise management at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine that works to manage its facilities in an excellent and efficient way."
