The families of the kidnapped martyrs praise the pivotal role of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine in caring for them and urging authorities to save them.

The holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and of al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) have formed a high-level delegation in order to extend the condolences to the families of the martyrs, who were kidnapped recently by the terrorist ISIL gangs.

The delegation was received by the families and relatives of the martyrs. The al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine was represented by the head of the Department of Religious Affairs; Sheikh Salah al-Karbalai and a group of its employees.

This step was a continuation of the effort of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine during the crisis of kidnapping in contact with the families of the kidnapped, trying its best to save them, which is a normal step in its continuous step to extend bridges of familiarity, sympathy and communication between the segments of Iraqi society and the holy shrines of Karbala.

The families of martyrs expressed their thanks and gratitude for this initiative, which reflects the depth of the link between the two holy shrines and the people of the province. They have also praised the active role by the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine represented by its senior official Sayed Ahmad al-Safi who was closely following this case and made extensive contacts with the central government and the security forces in order to find them and release them. But unfortunately, things went the other way.

They joined the convoys of the happy martyrs, whose blood was shed for the sake of the freedom of the country from the subjugation of the terrorist ISIL gangs.
