The Department of Religious Affairs participates in the annual conference of the convoys' guides of the pilgrims of Holy House of God.

After passing the tests of the religious guides who will accompany the convoys of pilgrims this year to the Holy House of God, a number of guides of the Department of Religious Affairs at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine participated in the work of the annual conference of the guides of the convoys of the pilgrims of the House of God, which was held by the Department of Guidance and Research of the Supreme Commission for Hajj and Umrah in cooperation and coordination with the Department of Religious Affairs at the holy shrine of Imam Ali (peace be upon him), in the hospitality complex of Imam Hassan al-Mujtaba (peace be upon him) at the holy shrine of Imam Ali (peace be upon him).
Sheikh Ali Mohan, one of the guides in the Department of Religious Affairs who attended the conference, said: "The conference witnessed a large presence of guides (men and women) accredited to the Iraqi pilgrimage convoys, as well as the presence of His Eminence Sheikh Mohammed Baqir Al-Ayrwani and Chairman of the Commission Sheikh Dr. Khaled Al-Attiyah, who stressed on the essential role of the guides of pilgrims in the performance of Hajj, which depends on their efforts and good performance as they are the success pillar of the Commission work, indicating the great responsibility that lies on them in the education of pilgrims to perform correctly their rituals according to the Jurisprudential rules of Islamic law ".
He added: "There was also a guidance word of his eminence Sheikh Mohammed Baqir al-Ayrwani, in which he identified the status of the religious guide of the pilgrims, urging them to do more to make the success of this season"
