The al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine offers its support and assistance to a project that cares for the orphans of the Fatwa for Defense.

Since the issuance of the fatwa for defense, the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine is one of the institutions supporting it in varied forms in line with the orientations of the Supreme Religious Authority. The al-Fadl Foundation for the support of orphans of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine is a model of the support and care for the orphans of martyrs of this Fatwa, thanks to which Iraqi is living in peace, through a support program launched by the Foundation, under the name " Al-Kafeel my father; food, healing and clothing."

Sheikh Hussein al-Turabi, head of this foundation, stated to AL-Kafeel Network: "The project (Al-Kafeel my father: food, healing, and clothing) is a charitable humanitarian project organized by the Foundation aiming to provide a decent life for the families of the martyrs of the holy fatwa through the activation of the principle of social solidarity. And under the direct guidance of the Senior Official of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine Sayed. Ahmed Al-Safi, who urged on the support, sustainability and continuity of this project, which came in harmony with the holy shrine programs in this field”.

Indicating: "The project is based on the individual sponsorship system for the orphan: After the launch of the sponsorship, the Foundation will hand over three cards to the orphan family, which has been sponsored, from which the orphan family will benefit as follows:

First: Food Card: This card allows families to shop directly from the direct selling centers of Noor Al-Kafeel Company for animal products of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine.

Second: Card of healing: This card ensures the provision of full health care to orphans during the period of sponsorship by the foundation, as al-Fadl Foundation signed agreements with a group of hospitals, most notably the al-Kafeel Super Speciality hospital of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, to treat all cases received through the foundation, The treatment includes the wife, mother, children of the martyr.

Third: Card of clothing: It is one of the most things that bring joy and happiness to the children, when they buy new clothes in the holidays and events and this is the goal of the cards of clothing, which allows the families to shop for their children from a number of clothing complexes, and it is renewed every six months. Noting that the al-'Afaf Shopping Center of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has a prominent and important role in this side."

"The first stage of the project aims to cover the needs of 500 orphans of the martyrs of the religious defense Fatwa launched by the religious authority, to expand the next stage by increasing the number of orphans covered by the sponsorship system to (1,500) orphans from Iraqi families in general, "stressing that" the expansion would not have been possible without the support received from the supporting institutions, especially the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine."

"In addition to what was stated, the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine plays an important role in the recreational activities of the orphans through conducting tours for them, visiting the holy sites and other activities that support them psychologically."

It is worth mentioning that this initiative comes as a continuation of the initiatives launched by the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine to these families in honor of their sacrifices, and in its earnest and ambitious endeavors to promote the cultural level of the orphans, contribute to their social rehabilitation and help them to overcome some of the psychological problems they might suffer because of the orphanage.
