The al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine establishes the second cultural Qamar Forum after the success of its first forum.

Thanks to the great success and interaction of the first cultural Qamar forum held by the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, a second forum was initiated with the participation of 150 participants from the province of Babylon, which varied among university students, teaching bodies and other groups, in the al-'Ameed University located on the road to Najaf - Karbala. An integrated program was prepared to help the participants to meet and confront the current religious, cultural and social challenges.

Mr. Ali al-Badri, one of the supervisors of this forum explained to al-Kafeel Network: "The forum includes a variety of ideological and cultural lectures in addition to workshops in psychological engineering and the preparation of leaders, in addition to qualitative lectures in disinformation media to review the ways of media organizations to mislead public opinion and deceive peoples. These lectures are presented by professors and lecturers qualified from the highest levels of the technical and specialized cadres in the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine. The subjects have been selected by specialized cadres living with the problems experienced by the Iraqi individual these days. Therefore, the lectures are dealing with the real problems in the society to answer many questions of the youth."

He added: "We believe that the cultural war now exists and continues to deprive the Iraqi citizen of his religion and national identity, transforming him into an inactive individual in society and indifferent to what is going on, pushing him to despair and achieve a large psychological defeat among the youth, so it is our duty to broadcast the optimism spirit and work to fortify the internal cultural front, by spreading the spirit of love and cooperation and renounce the violation that serves only the enemies of Iraq. "

It is noteworthy that this forum lasts for ten days, with participants of the province of Dhi Qar for its first edition, hoping to include other provinces after the province of Babylon in this edition. The participation in the forum is optional after filling a specific form to show the objectives and purpose of this forum. The al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has ensured in addition to the preparation of the program of the lecturers, the means of transportation, accommodation, feeding, etc.
