Participants from the Institute of the Holy Quran for women won two prizes in two Quranic competitions.

The participants of the Institute of the Holy Quran for women of the Islamic and Human Knowledge Department at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine won two prizes during their participation in two Qur'anic competitions. The Hafedh Khulood Baqir Abdul-Amir won the second place in the contest of Hifdh [memorization of] 20 parts of the Holy Quran in which she competed along with 32 others, as part of the second national Quranic Na'eem Contest, which was organized by the Quranic Education Unit of the Religious Women Preaching Division at the Holy Shrine of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) under the slogan: "The Qur'an is the approach of our victory".

As for the second contest held by the center of Abu Hanifa Al-Nu'man for reading in A'dhamiya in cooperation with the Iraqi Center for the Holy Quran, the Hafedh Rokaya Odeh Abdul-Zahra won the first place in the memorization [Hifdh] of five parts of the Holy Quran within the Holy Quran memorization contest.

According to the officials of the Qur'anic Women's Institute in the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, these prizes are the result of a strong Quranic effort and continuous support by the presidency of the department, headed by the General Secretariat of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, which drew the general guidelines of the Women's Institute, and eliminated all obstacles and provided all that is available for the creation of women armed with the Holy Quran, and the results in this competition is only evidence of that Quranic approach.

It is noteworthy that this is not the first time that the Quranic women's Quranic Institute win these prizes, as it has had previous participations in which the participating girls have attained advanced grades, which indicates the correct approach adopted by the Institute and its administration.
