The Department of Education and Higher Education at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine organizes rehabilitation courses for orphans.

In order to activate the participation in the field of social solidarity for the children of society, especially the orphans, the Education Department at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine opened for the second year in a row on Wednesday 18th of Dhu al-Qi'dah 1439H corresponding to August 1, 2018 an educational course for 97 orphans of both sexes, and this session came to those in dire need of care and attention to strengthen community ties.

The course was held in the classrooms of the al-'Ameed schools group exclusively for the primary stage for a whole month, by four hours per day for all the subjects prescribed in the curriculum, interspersed with recreational activities and guidance and religious lectures, all by specialized the staff of the Department of Education and Higher Education in the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine.

In this course, the participant is subjected to a case study, to diagnose the weaknesses of the participants and see if they have failed to overcome some of the school subjects. The course is able to focus on their weaknesses and strengthen them in order to overcome them in the exams of the second round and the next stages. The successful students will qualify for the next stages through teaching the curriculum for them in the following year, noting that each of the school subjects is taught by a specialized teaching staff within the curriculum decided by the Ministry of Education.

The process of explaining all the educational lessons in this course is done in a modern and contemporary way in order to communicate ideas in the best way possible to the participating students.
