In cooperation with the Mustansiriya University, the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine organizes a specialized course in the skill of preparing scientific research.

To activate the joint protocol between them, the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, represented by the Manuscripts House and Libraries in the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, in cooperation with al-Mustansiriya University (Department of Information and libraries), a special course was organized in the skills of preparing scientific research. A group of staff working in the centers and units of the Library Division participated in this session In order to develop academic and professional research skills for them in the field of preparing and writing scientific research and deepening the scientific subject of research.

The session, which was launched on Sunday, August 5, 2018, at the Hall of Imam al-Qasim (Peace be upon him) at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and continues for four days under the supervision of Dr. Azhar Zayer Jassim, a faculty member in the Department of Information and Libraries at the Faculty of Arts - Mustansiriya University, including important essential axes in how to prepare the scientific research in terms of the mechanism of selecting the title, identifying the problem and hypotheses of treatment, structure of research and types of study as the first axis, and the technical conditions of how to quote and its method of documentation, as well as questions in scientific research. The session also included the use of modern technology skills in addition to other axes that will contribute to help the participant in preparing a good scientific research.

On their part, the participants expressed their appreciation for the valuable information that was put forward and which will be presented at this session, calling for the establishment of more of these courses, which contribute to the development of expertise in the field of scientific research.

It is to note that this session is part of the continuous cooperation between the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and the academic institutions, including the Mustansiriya University, for the exchange of ideas and experiences.
