Department of Husseiniya Processions and Bodies in Iraq and the Islamic world to Hold Election for Representatives in the provinces of Diyala and Ta’mim

Department of Husseini processions and bodies in Iraq and the Islamic world of of the Husseni and Abbasi Holy Shrines hold on Sunday 17 Sha’ban 1433 – July 9, 2012 periodic elections to select officials of Husseini bodies and processions in the provinces (Diyala and Ta’mim), with the election of both of the Haj Ali Ahmed Taher for the province of Diyala, and Haji Ahmed Mahd Adel for the province of Ta’mim. That was declared Alkafeel network by the head of the department Sayed Hashim al-Musawi.
He added: "The election came after electing officials of units by the sponsors of Husseini processions and bodies in these provinces (Diyala – Ta’mim), and according to the geographical area of each administrative unit."

He states "officials of these units who were elected are considered the link between sponsors of the procession and officials of the bodies in the province, to elect official for these bodies and processions from among officials of the units to be the representative of the Department of Husseini processions and bodies in that province."

Al-Musawi clarified: "The representative of the Husseini bodies and processions in each province is working to document the Husseini processions and bodies, and work to cooperate with the service and security departments in the province, in coordination with officials of the units and according to the geographical area and the administrative unit, and to facilitate moving the processions, and supervision during the seasons of visits, and to hold regular meetings and to resolve all problems, and raise their recommendations and suggestions of the Department of Husseini processions and bodies in Holy Shirnes. "

Adding, " the work of officials of the units is voluntary and unpaid and that these elections are held periodically and every three years."

It is worth mentioning that the number of Husseini processions and bodies recorded in the Department of Husseini Processions and Bodies in Iraq and the Islamic world last year exceeds (16000) bodies and processions in Iraq and the Islamic world and they include more than (75) Arab and international Processions participated in the Arbaeen visitation of Imam Hussein peace be upon him 1433 .
