The al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine honors more than 1000 orphans.

Within its role and approach in sustaining the relationship with the institutions that take care of orphans and poor, and in order to contribute to give them a bit of joy within the celebrations of Eid al-Adha, the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine received more than 1000 orphans with their families who are sponsored by the charity Foundation of Imam as-Sajjad (peace be upon him) to help young people to get married and to care for orphans in the province of Karbala.

After visiting the holy shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), they had a meeting with representatives of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine who assisted to the meeting on behalf of the Senior Official Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, and Sayed Adnan al-Musawi from the Department of Religious Affairs gave a speech.

Sayed Fadhel al-Hussayni, president of the charity foundation of Imam as-Sajjad (peace be upon him) stated to Al-Kafeel Network: "The foundation's orphans are accustomed annually to get the honor to visit the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and meet with its officials every second day of Eid al-Adha. The visit includes a lunch meal and offering the orphans gifts of Eid, after having performed the rituals of the Ziyarat of the Master Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him). And this is not the first time that the orphans are honored by the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, but its officials are in constant contact with the foundation to contribute to take care of the orphans and give them the joy of Eid."

The orphans and their families have expressed their joy and happiness for the generous initiative of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine in these blessed days.
