Continuous work in the Educational Complex Project in Najaf Province.

The al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine give special attention to the project of the educational complex in Najaf, which includes a number of colleges, and is located on an area of ​​more than (80.000) square meters, which is hoped, once created, to be a scientific monument of great interest in terms of educational programs and in terms of construction and facilities, and will work according to the best international standards and compete the most quality universities in the production of research and the ability to attract minds and research and academic talent.

The head of the engineering projects Department at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, Eng. Diaa Majeed Al-Sa'egh stated: "The work is taking place at a single pace and on a continuous basis in accordance with a plan that was prepared in advance, including the acceleration of the completion of two colleges of the complex, both the Faculty of Dentistry and the College of Pharmacy, each of which is established on 1.700 square meters and four floors divided into classrooms, laboratories and administrative offices , Which is expected to open its doors this year, God willing. The work will continue for the rest of the colleges respectively on the basis of the set plan. The percentage of achievement in these two colleges is nearly (80%)."

Al-Sa'egh said: "These works were accompanied by infrastructure works, the establishment of the systems of the project such as the fire extinguishing, sewage, electricity and potable water systems, as well as paving the roads and the outer fence in addition to other works that are conducted in parallel."

He also stressed that: "All buildings, whether faculties or the buildings attached to them, are conform to the specifications agreed upon with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research."

Al-Sa'egh added: "The project will achieve several goals, including:

-Attracting Iraqi minds.

-Providing the appropriate climate for the success with programs prepared according to the standards of international accreditation.

- Creating jobs for the unemployed within the possibilities of this complex.

- Reducing the momentum in private and government universities.

- Keeping abreast of the scientific developments in the field of education, both theoretically and practically, through methods and laboratories."
