The al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine is decorated for the celebration of Eid al-Ghadeer.

The al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine was adorned with flowers of beautiful colors, and banners on which expressions of allegiance and loyalty to the Imam Ali Ibn Abi Taleb (peace be upon both of them) were hung on the walls, to express the joy of believers who had pledged allegiance to Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) on this great occasion in which he announced the true religion was completed by the appointment of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of God be upon him) to his cousin Imam Ali (peace be upon him) as the Commander of the believers and his successor.

Mr. Zayn al-'Abideen Adnan, the head of the Department of the Shrine's care, which is responsible for decorating the Holy Shrine on every occasion, explained to Al-Kafeel Network: "We have decorated the holy shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) with more than four thousand flowers of various types, divided on fifty garlands, as well as roses that will be distributed to each of the staffs and visitors tomorrow to celebrate the great Eid of al-Ghadeer".

He added: "As it is known at every religious occasion related to the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) we coordinate with the sewing department in the department of gifts and vows of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine to sew banners and signs on which the words of allegiance and loyalty to the Commander of the believers and Prince of the Creation; Ali Ibn Abi Taleb (peace be upon him). In addition, we decorate the places in which celebrations will be held in the basements of the holy shrine with the most beautiful flowers and decorations. "
