Completion of the construction of the new building of the Women Institute of the Holy Quran of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine in Najaf.

The staff of the engineering maintenance department at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine completed the work of establishing a new building for the Women Quran Institute of the Islamic and Human Knowledge Department at the Holy Shrine.

The establishment of this building came as a result of the expansion of the activities of the Institute, so the General Secretariat of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine decided to create a new building in a suitable place, and the Engineering Maintenance Department was assigned to conduct the design and the construction of this building without the use of any third parties.

The head of the engineering maintenance department Eng. Abbas Mousa stated about this project: "After we were assigned by the General Secretariat of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine to implement this project, we started the preliminary procedures, the preparation of the designs, and after their approval, they were directly implemented according to modern technical and architectural specifications. And all praise to God, the institute's building has been completed in record time without the use of any external bodies, but relying only on our cadres, namely the Division of Construction Materials, the Division of External Projects and the Division of Electricity and Refrigeration."

As for the specifications of the project, Engineer Hassanein Alaa Al-Shubar added: "The building was built in Al-Karamah district in Najaf governorate. It covers an area of ​​(300) square meters divided into three floors. The first floor consists of an information and administrative rooms, as well as control room, in addition to five classrooms. The second floor consists of a nursery and kindergarten for children, in addition to seven classrooms, while the third floor is a conference hall. "

"The building was provided with an electrical elevator as well as stairs. It was also provided with water, electricity, sewage, air conditioning, fire alarm, communications, audio and video systems, and the project's finishes were very artistic, combining the authenticity of the past with modernity."
