A delegation of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine assists to the annual festival of al-Ghadeer in the holy shrine of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him).

The Seventh Annual al-Ghadeer Festival, hosted by the General Secretariat of the holy shrine of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) to celebrate the Eid al-Ghadeer, was launched in the presence of Secretaries, representatives of the holy shrines and offices of the religious authorities, as well as teachers and students of the Hawza, academics, journalists and visitors.

The festival started by the recitation of verses of the Holy Quran by Sheikh Shubbar Ma'la, followed by the word of the Secretary General of the holy shrine of Imam Ali (peace be upon him); Eng. Yousef al-Sheikh Radhi, which he started by the holy verse: {O Messenger, announce that which has been revealed to you from your Lord, and if you do not, then you have not conveyed His message. And Allah will protect you from the people. Indeed, Allah does not guide the disbelieving people.} (5:67). and {This day I have perfected for you your religion and completed My favor upon you and have approved for you Islam as religion.} (5:3).

The speech of the head of the Shiite Endowment, Sayed. Alaa al-Moussawi, delivered on his behalf by Sheikh Dr. Haider Al-Sahlani, who said: "The content of Ghadeer's speech was not surprising to many supporters and immigrants who have repeatedly heard the Prophet's confirmation of Ali's succession and guardianship over the faithful in dozens of narrations and statements on various occasions."

The Sahlani stated that: "This day is great because of the statement of the Prophet of Islam (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household) about the status of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) and many recognizes this fact in many books of Muslims."

Then Sayed Mohamad Ali Bahr al-'Ulul presented his word highlighting the virtue of Imam Ali Ibn Abi Taleb (peace be upon him), and the importance of the event of al-Ghadeer, which was a clear statement of the Holy Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household) after which all Muslims confessed, surrendered and pledged allegiance to Imam Ali."

Then Dr. Abd al-Hasan al-'Abbodi presented his poem on this wonderful occasion, in which he mentioned the virtues of Imam Ali (peace be upon him). Then the chanting group of the holy shrine of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) chanted eulogies about the love of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) on this great day.
