The al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine ended all preparations for the mourning and sorrow season, the anniversary of the martyrdom of the Prophet's beloved grandson, his family and his companions (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), which will be commemorated with special condolence rituals in the square overlooking the Qibla gate of the holy shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), starting by the replacement of the dome's flag of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), preceded by rituals at the shrine of his brother the Master of martyrs Aba Abdillah al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) and it also includes replacing the red flag of his holy dome to the black flag to announce the grief and mourning.
The rituals of replacing the dome's flag of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) will include a speech to the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and another of the Shiite Waqf office and then offering the condolence banner to one of the Iraqi provinces and to conduct the rituals of replacing the flag of the holy dome of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him). These rituals will be concluded by condolences' poetry and elegies.
On the other hand, the two holy shrines witnessed the influx of large numbers of visitors to perfom the Ziyarat and participate in these events in the midst of high security and service preparations.
Also, the Division of Photography and Montage of the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine will provide a free satellite broadcasting frequency for the transmission of the events and the rituals of Ziyarat of Ashura, including the rituals of replacing the flag according to the excellent technical specifications that allow any satellite channel to receive frequency according to the following data:

It is noteworthy that these rituals and ceremonies are held since the year (2004), through which the beginning of the month of grief is announced, in Karbala, the holy capital of the Hussayni rites.
