In preparations for the rituals of Ashura, the middle square between the two holy shrines is covered with more than 20000 square meters of red carpet.

Among the preparations for the rituals of Ashura of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), including the condolences procession of Rakdhat [run of] twayreej, the Department of between the two holy shrines of the two holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and of al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them), as part of the service works assigned to it during this Ziyarat, to cover the middle square between the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and of his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) with twenty thousand square meters of red carpet, and same area of nylon that was put beneath is as the yard is coated with marble, which hinders the movement of the millions mourners participating in the mourning ritual of Rakdhat [run of] Twayreej.

The carpet covers the area extending from the gates of the holy shrine of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) overlooking the mentioned square, up to the gates of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine facing it; Gate Imam al-Hassan, Gate of Imam al-Hussayn and Gate of the awaited Imam (peace be upon them).

It is noteworthy that the mentioned department, like all the departments of the two holy shrine, has mobilized all the energies for several days to receive the visitors, mourners and Hussayni processions, whose numbers are increasing up to the peak of the Ziyarat tomorrow, that includes the run of millions of mourners towards the holy shrine of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him in a ritual called Rakdat Twayreej. And for this purpose all the staff of the department are in full alert, supplied by a group of volunteers in order to help in the great department's works.
