Al-Harth Ibn Nabhan, one of the companions of the Holy Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household) who were martyred with Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him).

Among the companions of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) some of the companions of the Holy Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household), such as Al-Harth Ibn Nabhan.

His father is Nabhan who was a slave to Hamza Ibn Abd al-Muttaleb. His father died two years after the martyrdom of Hamza, which means that al-Harth has met the Holy Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household) many times, especially that we grew up under the care of Imam Ali (peace be upon him).

Historians stated that Nabhan was a slave of Hamza, he was courageous knight, and when he died, his son al-Harth joined the Commander of the faithful (peace be upon him) and then Imam al-Hassan (peace be upon him) and finally Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him). So when Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) went from Madinah to Mecca, he was with him and accompanied him until they arrived to Karbala. And when it was time to fight, he asked for the permission of his master Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) and fought bravely until he was crowned by the martyrdom.
