The conference "Reclaiming the Intellectual Primacy and Promote Just, Peaceful and Inclusive Societies" kicked off in New York City.

At 10 am New York time, the conference of "Reclaiming the Intellectual Primacy and Promote Just, Peaceful and Inclusive Societies", sponsored by the General Secretaries of the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and of al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them), in cooperation with the Imam Khoei Foundation and the Scientific Alliance for Research and Heritage, was launched.

The conference was held at the Economic Council Hall in the United Nations building in New York City with a wide participation of Islamic and non-Islamic personalities from all over the world. Three researches of the Imam al-Hussayn's (p) holy shrine and two researches of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine will be presented.

The participation of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine in this conference, because it represents -like the rest of the holy shrines- the father of all Muslims, especially the followers and lovers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).

It is to note that the conference is held at United Nations Headquarters in New York on October 8, with the participation of personalities from various religions, sects and disciplines, and in the presence of a number of media outlets to cover this important event.
