Imam Al Khoei Foundation in New York honors the delegation of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine.

The Imam al-Kho'ei Foundation in New York paid tribute to the delegation of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine that organized and participated in the international congress titled "Reclaiming the Intellectual Primacy and Promote Just, Peaceful and Inclusive Societies", sponsored by the General Secretaries of the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and of al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them), in cooperation with the Imam Khoei Foundation and the Scientific Alliance for Research and Heritage, held at United Nations Headquarters. Commending the efforts made during the five-month organizational period and the holding of the congress, as well as for its scientific research presented at the congress, as well as in appreciation to the efforts of the delegation's members in the organization of this congress.

The ceremony was held at the foundation's headquarters in the presence of its president Sheikh Fadel Al Sahlani and a number of its staff.

Sheikh Sahlani expressed his thanks and appreciation to the delegation which attended and participated in the conference. He said: "It was a great help for us. Together we managed to organize a world event to be held for the first time in the United Nations headquarters, which preparation lasted for a good period, in which a number of meetings were held between us and we set out the general guidelines and agreed on the themes of the conference in line with the current status quo, and the ideas and visions merged until they crystallized out of practical data that contributed to its convening and its outcome with good results and positive echoes. And this indicates the seriousness of organizing such events that are in contact with our Islamic reality. Thus, the organization was wonderful and exemplary and truly elevated to international conferences, and we hope that this experience will be repeated in future seasons. This honor is only a simple thing for this dedicated team."

The head of the delegation of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, Professor Dr. Riyad al-Amidi, expressed his thanks to the Foundation which has harnessed all its energies and potentials to organize and hold this conference, with the collaboration of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine for the first time, in an exemplary way that was praised by the attendees thanks to the blessings of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him). The experiment was successful and reflected positively on the research sessions held within the conference in addition to the events that were held on its sidelines. "
