A delegation from the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine visits the al-Ghadeer Foundation and the Imam Ali Center in New York.

The delegation of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine participating in the activities of the international conference in the United Nations headquarters has put in its agenda to also visit and communicate with the religious institutions and centers that care for of the Muslims in New York, in order to get acquainted with them and to identify the mechanisms used in managing their business and the problems they face. Also because these visits are a motivation to continue their work in the best way.

Among the institutions that the delegation has visited in New York is al-Ghadeer Islamic Foundation, a religious and cultural institution located in the western part of the state. The delegation was received by Sheikh Maan Al-Sahlani, who welcomed them with the warmest greetings. Then he presented a brief explanation on the most important activities of the foundation, which contribute to the immunization and education of Muslim families and their children in the Diaspora, as well as the establishment and organization of Quranic courses and entrenching the line and approach of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) in their hearts trough the dissemination of their teachings and ethics, which represent the ethics of the true Islamic religion.

The other station was in one of the important religious centers in New York, the center of Imam Ali (peace be upon him), which embraces a group of Muslims of the Diaspora. The delegation conducted a tour accompanied by one of its officials, Sayed. Ali Radawi, who started the meeting with warm welcoming words and a brief explanation of the history and establishment of this center, thanking at the same time this visit and this attention, which was the first of its kind, as this center has never received any delegation of holy shrines, wishing them the success in the work for which they came, in order to contribute to the clarification of the true image of Islam.

Member of the delegation, Dr. Mushtaq Abbas Maan, for his part, said: "The continuous communication between the Muslim and his Muslim brother is an important factor in maintaining the identity of the people surrounded by a high impact environment, as well as getting briefed on the problems and aspirations of communities and religious and cultural institutions in the Diaspora. The holy shrines, especially the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and of al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them), have always bridged the relationship with the Muslims, through activating the function of Tabligh and achieving coexistence among all the sects. "
