A majestic Hussayni march of the people of Samawah heading towards Karbala.

As in every season of Arba'een, a majestic Hussayni march of the people of Samawah started heading towards Karbala, to commemorate the Arba'een of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), which is a custom of the area. This march is accompanied by a mobile Hussayni theater to remind the tragedy of at-Taf and the journey of captivity of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them). Many people of the provinces along the road to Karbala consider this march a special event during this Ziyarat, as the Tashabeeh [parade copying acts or scenes in a theatrical way] recall the journey of the captives of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) especially their return trip to Karbala on the twentieth of Safar.

The correspondent of Al-Kafeel Network accompanying the immortal March of Arba'een stated during his presence in the province of Muthanna: "During these days, the province embraces the visitors heading towards the holy city of Karbala amid a large security and service mobilization and a distinguished hospitality. And this march and parade is a great way to remind the cause and renaissance of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) which is immortal."

On the other hand, the Muthanna Police headquarters provided security detachments to accompany and protect the march, which is joined by many visitors who are walking from the southern provinces.
