The Institute of the Holy Quran establishes more than 50 Centers to teach correct reading of the Holy Quran to the visitors in Babylon Province.

Among the most important cities visited by the pilgrims during their march towards Karbala to perform the Ziyarat Arba'een, is the province of Babylon. The Institute of the Holy Quran of the Department of the Islamic and Human Knowledge Affairs at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has then taken this opportunity to open more than 50 centers of the project to teach the correct reading of the Holy Quran to the visitors.

A number of these centers were scattered in the districts and areas of this province along the road used by the pilgrims walking towards Karbala to perform the Ziyarat of Arba'een of the Master of martyrs (peace be upon him), to teach them the correct reading of the Surat al-Fatihah and short chapters of the Holy Quran as well as some of the obligatory expressions used during the prayer.

It is to note that the Institute has established these stations in the provinces of Muthanna, Babylon, Najaf and Karbala, on the main roads leading to the holy city of Karbala, including the road Baghdad/ Karbala, Babylon/ Karbala, and Najaf/ Karbala. Most of the beneficiaries of this project are the youth, the illiterates and the foreigners.
