The al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine launches an international media project to introduce the Ziyarat Arba'een and attracts Arab and foreign visitors.

Dozens of video interviews were produced in several languages translated into Arabic, and a number of documentaries are being prepared as part of an international media project launched by the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, aiming the western countries.

The director of the Al-Kafeel Center for Culture and International Media at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Mr. Jassam Mohamad al-Sa'idi stated to Al-Kafeel global Network: "The project aims to introduce the Ziyarat Arba'een and show the truth about Iraq for the purpose of attracting Arab and foreign visitors, as well as to improve the international image of the country after the great media disinformation against it. The project is focused on dozens of the Arab and foreign (religious, cultural or political) personalities from the visitors of Arba'een."

He continued: "We launched the project "The Message of Arba'een", because it has contributed throughout 12 and a half centuries to convey a message of peace and great love in educating the successive Iraqi generations on sacrifice, patience and unlimited material and moral giving. And thanks to it, the victory over ISIL was achieved in much less time expected by the America political leaders at the beginning of the ISIL crisis. The lessons of Arba'een should reach everyone who participates in it from the rest of the countries in the world, which is highlighted in the various interviews in which, even non-Muslims, confess benefitting from the Arba'een messages in building the human being."

Al-Sa'idi also indicated: "We have created a channel on YouTube with the same name on the following link (please click here). We have also opened pages on social networking sites under the same name. The films and interviews were translated by the al-Kafeel translation house from English, French, Turkish and Urdu into Arabic."
