The host restaurant [Madeef] of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) still provide food to the visitors of Arba'een.

Six days after the end of the Ziyarat Arba'een of Imam al-Hussayn and of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them), the Madeef [host restaurant] of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) is still continuing its work to offer food to the visitors who arrived late to the holy city of Karbala or those who remained in it and who are mostly from outside Iraq.

The Head of the Department; Haj Kadhem 'Abadah explained to Al-Kafeel Network: "Our plan to feed the visitors of Arba'een do not end by the end of the Ziyarat rituals, but continues few days after it until after the martyrdom anniversary of the Holy Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household). And this has become our custom in every Ziyarat, as we prepare daily our food service and we distribute thousands of meals."

He added: "Our action is based on our observation of the presence of large numbers of visitors while most of the service processions have finished providing their services after the end of the Ziyarat Arba'een. So, we have decided to continue the service we have started since the first days of the month of Safar, inspired by the generosity of the Master Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him)."

It is to mention that the host restaurant of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has provided its services 24 hours a day during the Ziyarat Arba'een, including receiving and preparing food to the visitors and guests. More than 75 thousands meals were distributed daily either in the halls of the Madeef or through its six external ports, in addition to other small meals.
