Sayed al-Safi meets with the media team of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine in charge of the broadcast of the Ziyarat Arba'een.

The Senior Official of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine; His Eminence Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, has praised the efforts exerted by the media team in charge of the media coverage of the Ziyarat Arba'een of the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the holy shrine, urging them to make more efforts to serve this cause and to work hard in order to present it to the world by all media means.

His Eminence has met them in the Host Hall of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine in the presence of the Secretary-General of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine; Engineer Mohamad al-Ashigar and the head of the Department Sayed Laith al-Musawi and his two assistants. His Eminence has listened to a detailed explanation of the most important plans followed by the team for the coverage of the Ziyarat Arba'een this year, highlighting the difficulty of the task, and pointing out the future plans. Then his Eminence has given them some advices, such as:

1- The media aspect of the revolution of the Master of martyrs (peace be upon him) was a main pillar of the at-Taf tragedy.

2- Many have fallen into the trap of counter-media and failed to support Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him).

3- Imam as-Sajjad and Lady Zaynab (peace be upon both of them) have played media role after the tragedy of Ashura.

4- There is a need to study the depths of the Ziyarat Arba'een so we can highlight it in the media.

5- We must harness all our experience to show the supreme meanings of the Ziyarat Arba'een and motivate the faithful to commemorate its rituals.

6- Through our media activities, such as documentaries and live broadcasts, we can attract international media channels to highlight the March of Arba'een, depending on the strength of our channels' programs.

7- There are some media channels that try to divert the attention from the essence of the Ziyarat Arba'een, and this kind of media was used by the Umayyads, as there was a great media blackout at the time.

8- As media specialists, you must develop the media work of the Ziyarat Arba'een by investing more energies and exerting more efforts.

9- It is hoped that you will be responsible for contributing to the mediatisation of the Arba'een in the world.

10- The importance of public relations based on solid foundations and values that affect the speed of the transfer of the information about the Ziyarat to the world.

11- To not put many restrictions to give the television information about the Arba'een.

12- Cohesiveness and harmony among you is important, as it is one of the success factors of the media coverage of the Ziyarat Arba'een.

At the end of the meeting, Sayed al-Safi asked the team to start drawing up a media plan for the coming Ziyarat. Praying for them that their efforts are accepted by the Almighty Allah and the Master Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him).
