In pictures: Samarra embraces hundreds of thousands of visitors in the commemoration of the martyrdom anniversary of Imam al-Hassan al-'Askari (peace be upon him).

Samarra has embraced hundreds of thousands of visitors coming to it from various provinces of Iraq and from abroad to the shrine of Imam Ali al-Hadi and Imam al-Hassan al-'Askari (peace be upon both of them) in the martyrdom anniversary of Imam al-Hassan al-'Askari (peace be upon him) on the 8th of Rabi' Awwal 1439 AH, since four days and the peak was today.

The Holy Shrine of Imam al-Hadi and Imam al-'Askari (peace be upon both of them) has mobilized all its capabilities after developing a security and service plan to receive the visitors, along with the security plan set by the security forces in Samarra to prevent any emergency that might disturb the atmosphere of the Ziyarat.

On the other hand, the service processions were spread within the city of Samarra and the roads leading to it to provide their services to the visitors, starting from food and beverages to accommodation and other services.

This Ziyarat was considered exceptional as a result of the victories achieved by our security forces and the popular mobilization by defeating the terrorist ISIL gangs and the liberation of the usurped land of the homeland, which is positively reflected on the atmosphere of this Ziyarat.
