"Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him); nations' beacon and reform of values" is the slogan for the fifteenth edition of the Martyrdom's Spring Festival.

The Preparatory Committee for the fifteenth edition of the International Festival of the Martyrdom's Spring continues to hold its consultative meetings, as part of a schedule prepared and initiated since the end of the previous edition of the festival, in preparation for the coming edition that will be launched in the beginning of the month of Sha'ban -God willing-.

Sayed 'Aqeel Abd al-Hussayn al-Yasiri, member of the preparatory committee of the festival and deputy head of the department of intellectual and cultural affairs also stated: "The preparatory committee had a number of meetings in order to draw up plans and send them to the Senior Officials of the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them), to approve them and add their opinions and suggestions. Among these recommendations s the choice of this slogan for this edition of the festival: "Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him); nations' beacon and reform of values."

Adding: "This slogan was chosen by the supervising committee because Ima al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) has set rules of reform of the Islamic and humanitarian values. And the festival is held to adopt the thought of the Master of martyrs (peace be upon him) in order to build a coherent society that is intellectually and morally protected by the culture of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).”
