The delegation of the Iraqi jurisprudence assembly of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine: We need to consolidate closely the principle of coexistence and prevent the spread of extremist ideas.

The delegation of the Iraqi jurisprudence assembly, which had the honor of visiting the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, said: "The passed period in Iraq and the events that followed the occupation of some areas by ISIL, urged our need to consolidate closely the principle of coexistence and the direct contact to strengthen these ties and prevent the spread of extremist ideas."

Dr. Abd al-Wahab al-Samarra'i, head of the delegation, added: "The initiative of this visit aims to enhance practical communication as there should be acquaintance among scholars, preachers and all the components of society, not just reading and hearing about them from the media."

Indicating: "Today, we need to have this feeling through communication and coexistence." Stressing on the need to respect the identity of the other partner in the homeland on the basis of equality, participation and mutual respect. Stating: "And this is the message that we seek to consolidate. As Iraq needs to wings to fly".

At the end of his speech, he expressed his great happiness to visit the holy city of Karbala, especially the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them), thanking the preachers for their appreciation, respect and welcoming this initiative."
