The al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine organizes a central celebration for reviving and celebrating the birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household).

Within the framework of the activities of the Great Prophet Cultural Week held by the House of the Great Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household) at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine on the occasion of the birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household), a central celebration was held on Friday morning 14th of Rabi' Awwal 1440 AH corresponding to November 23rd, 2018 in the Hall of Imam al-Hassan (peace be upon him), in the presence of a number of religious and academic figures as well as a number of satellite channels.

The ceremony began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran to be followed by the word of the General Secretary of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine; Engineer Mohamad al-Ashigar, who stressed that we must consolidate the intellectual and ideological aspects for our children and protect them from misguided ideas so that the Muslim individual is aware of what is going around him.

This was followed by the speech of the House of the Great Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household), delivered by Dr. Adel Nadeer Beri, who highlighted that the Prophet Mohammad (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household) was and will remain a good example who belongs to the real world as much as he belongs to the divine project.

After that, the poet Dr. Karim Mazhar presented his poem praising and expressing the love to the Holy Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household) followed by the poet Sajjad Abd al-Hameed whose poem was in form of a letter to the Master of all creation (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household).

During the ceremony, a documentary film about the achievements of the House of the Great Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household), followed by the activities of the research session headed by Dr. Dawud Salman Khalaf, including three research as follows:

First research: "The Great Prophet and his public message" of Sayed Mohamad Ali Bahr al-'Ulum.

Second research: "The reasons for the success of the prophetic project" of Sayed Ahmad al-Ashkuri.

Third research: "The speech literature in the prophetic proverbs" of Dr. Karima Numas al-Madani.

The ceremony ended by the distribution of appreciation shields to the participants from researchers and poets.
