The Department of Rituals and Hussayni Processions holds a photo exhibition in the shrine of the companion Sa'eed Ibn Jubayr.

The Department of Rituals and Hussayni Processions of the two holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and of al-Abbas (peace be upon him), has opened an artistic photo exhibition in the shrine of the companion Sa'eed Ibn Jubayr in the al-Hay city 45 km southern the province of Waset, in commemoration of his martyrdom anniversary. 50 photos were displayed under the slogan "Ashura, the code of eternity".

Head of the Department of Rituals and Hussayni Processions; Haj. Riyadh Ni'mah al-Salman told the Al-Kafeel Network about this exhibition, saying: "The photo exhibition focused on the Ziyarat Ashura and Arba'een, and condolences rituals and the services, whether provided by the Hussayni processions or by the two holy shrines."

He added: "Photographers from the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs, as well as photographers from our department, participated in the exhibition with (50) pictures measuring (60 cm x 40 cm), to shed the light on the Hussayni matter and its rituals as well as the march of millions and the services provided to the visitors during the sorrow season in Muharam and Safar."

"We have tried through this exhibition to document this great event using the artistic creativity, to be an important cultural extension for the future generations, and to give an artistic perception highlighting that the holy shrines have spiritual, artistic, heritage and ideological value."
