A delegation of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine attends a scientific session held by Fiqh College in Najaf.

A delegation representing the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine attended the scientific session held by the College of Fiqh in Najaf entitled "The most important common points between the Shiites and the Catholics, the future prospects for cooperation between the two parties and facing the challenges" held in the hall of the Publishing Forum Association.

The delegation was led by Sheikh Ammar Al-Hilali, Head of the Department of Islamic and Human Knowledge Affairs, in addition to the Director of the Center for Quranic Sciences, its interpretation and printing; Sheikh Dea' Uddin al-Zubaidi.

The meeting was attended by a group of Catholic priests from France and a group of specialists. The session began with the speech of the dean of the Fiqh College, and then Dr. Emmanuel from France presented the most important foundations on which the Catholic thought was based, followed by a word of Dr. Abd al-Amir Zahed, in which he highlighted the common points between the two parties.

The session ended with the interventions and observations of the attendance from the professors and specialists, and it was concluded by the word of the President of the Publishing Forum Association- the founding body of the Fiqh College - His Excellency Sayed. Mohammed Ali Bahr al-Ulum.
