Installation of separations in the holy sanctuary of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) to separate men and women inside the shrine.

In continuation of the works and projects in the holy sanctuary of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) in order to create an artistic and architectural harmony in it, the engineering maintenance department at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine began erecting separations with high thickness metal frames covered with layers of strengthened glass and decorative engravings to separate man and women. The separations are designed and implemented by the departmental staff, to replace the previous separations that were distorting the view because they were temporary ones and also because they were subject of falling during the special Ziyarat when millions of visitors flock to the holy shrine.

The head of the Engineering Maintenance Department at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine; Engineer Abbas Musa, has stated to Al-Kafeel Network: "These works came to install permanent new separations of high reliability and technical specifications instead of the old temporary ones that were made of iron and laminated wood."

He added: "These separations are manufactured taking into account the aesthetic aspect, the durability so they can bear all the pressures resulting from the movement of visitors in both sides, and to be installed in a way that ensures their sustainability. They were installed from both sides: the side of the holy head with a length of 14 meters and two meters high, and the side of the feet with a length of 13 meters and the same height,. The frames were manufactures of stainless steel and three 8 mm layers of strengthened glass, inspired in their design and engraving by the engravings and decorations in the holy grid to create an artistic symmetry with the architecture of the holy sanctuary."
