Electricity Division reaches advanced stages in the establishment of integrated electrical networks inside the underground floors of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine.

The technical and engineering staff of the Electricity Division of the Engineering Maintenance Department at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine reached the final stages of re-establishing the entire electrical networks for the underground floors of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine.

The work included the establishment of an integrated electricity system of high-capacity lighting and sockets within the service channels, all of which was executed with exceptional efforts in a record time.

The head of the electricity division, engineer Ali Abd al-Hussayn, spoke about the project saying: "We have started to establish the electrical network inside the underground floors, starting with the extension of the main electrical wiring and then the wires for the lighting and the power socket."

He added: "We have extended the main cable of 25mm thickness from the distribution room to the basement to feed the energy needed. The electrical installation also included the installation of LED lighting of multi-size candles according to need, and the lighting capacity exceeded three times the capacity of the old lighting and with much less consumed electrical power, and we are in the final stages of lighting fixtures in the basement. "

He explained: "A special emergency line has been extended to each basement, in addition to preparing the red and green lights to be centrally operated, and we are ready in the future to change what needs to be changed or add the required power sockets, and other various electrical requirements commensurate with the final image of the underground floor of the holy shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him)."
