The Guidance and Support Committee of the Religious Affairs Department at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine continues its work despite the fact that the war against the terrorist ISIL gangs has ended. The Iraqis achieved their great victory by defeating this enemy who wanted to tear this country and tamper with its land and holy sites. The work of this committee was at several levels, including supporting the security forces and the volunteers in the various districts, and maintaining communication with the citizens and residents of the cities liberated from ISIL or those that remained steadfast, and this is what the committee has done recently through a tour that included different areas (Nineveh, Salah al-Din, Kirkuk, Diyala), to meet with the people, to listen to their suffering and to work to strengthen and encourage them, to not give the opportunity to all those who want to disturb this safe atmosphere achieved by the blood of the sons of the fatwa of the holy defense.
The head of the visiting delegation and the head of the Committee; Sheikh Haidar al-'Aredhi, explained to Al-Kafeel Network the following: "This visit is part of a series of tours that we have made, and which we will undertake in the future within a schedule prepared in advance including all the areas that have been liberated or those that have resisted the terrorist ISIL gangs. This tour included four provinces within the liberated areas. We visited the province of Diyala (Al-Ma'abah, Buhraz, Hodeidah and Jawad al-Basho). We then went to Salah al-Din province, including the villages of Aal Bo Hassaan, Aal Bo Tuffah, Aal Bo 'Assi and Aal Bo Heshmah in Yathrib), then we went to the province of Kirkuk (Amerli), and finally to the province of Mosul in the areas of (Sinjar, Bartallah). "
Al-'Aredhi said: "During our presence in these areas, we held many meetings that brought us together with the families and dignitaries. We discussed several matters, the most important of which is taking more caution and monitoring any suspicious movements of the enemy, and focusing on the mutual trust between the liberated areas and the Iraqi security forces. Stressing on the factor of citizenship and love of this homeland in accordance with the concept of the unity of Iraq. And we also stressed on the principle of peaceful coexistence between the people of the regions."
He concluded: "We distributed blessing gifts from the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him)."
