Inauguration of the roofing project of the Hussayni camp and its grids' replacement.

Within the celebration of the auspicious birth anniversary of Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her), and after three years of continuous work, the Holy Shrine of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) inaugurated today one of its most important and major projects, namely the roofing project of the holy al-Hussayni camp sanctuary and the replacement of its four grids, which were installed on the places of the tents of Imam al-Hussayn, Lady Zaynab and al-Qassem son of Imam al-Hassan and Imam as-Sajjad (peace be upon them all), to give it a new design with technical specifications that combined modernity and the elegance of the Islamic architecture.

The inauguration ceremony was held in the Hussayni camp. It started with a wonderful recitation of the verses of the Holy Quran and recitation of Surat Al-Fatihah in honor of the souls of the righteous martyrs of Iraq. The ceremony was attended by a large presence of delegations and personalities representing many parties, including a delegation from the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine led by its Secretary General; Mohamad al-Ashigar.

"The construction of cultural, health and educational projects was conducted in order to reach the ultimate goal of serving the citizen. These projects adopted by the holy shrine of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) are implemented to provide diverse services to the visitors, such as this roofing project and the great project of the sanctuary of Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her)," said Sheikh Abdul-Mahdi Al-Karbalai; the Senior Official of the holy shrine of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him).

He said: "There are many parties contributed to the success of projects in the holy city of Karbala," and then he expressed his thanks for the efforts of ministries, government departments, government institutions and the province of Karbala for their support in the completion and success of these projects.

The inauguration ceremony witnessed the handing over of the keys to the new grids of the senior official of the holy shrine of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him). Then a documentary about the roofing project of the Hussayni camp was displayed, followed by poems presented on this occasion by the poet Abu Muhammad al-Mayahi and the poet Ali al-Saffar.
