A photographer from the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine wins the Black and White Competition of the Union of Arab Photographers.

Among 850 pictures of participants from most Arab countries, the photographer Samer al-Hussayni, one of the employees of the al-Kafeel Center for production and artistic photography at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, won the first place in the competition of black and white, organized by the Union of Arab photographers on the occasion of the International Day of this art.

This award was not the only one that he received during his career, as he also participated in previous local and international competitions. This award is complementary to the series of prizes he has won previously and an encouragement for future participations and competitions.

Al-Kafeel Global Network met with the photographer Samer al-Hussayni, who expressed his joy for this achievement. He said, "The efforts of the servants of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) are still praised in the international and local forums, because they are inspired by the sincerity and dedication of their master Aba al-Fadl (peace be upon him). In fact, this competition was characterized by the active participation and the diversity of the participating works, which reflected aspects of people's lives, traditions, popular celebrations and religious rites, both in Arab and other countries. "

"I dedicate this victory to the Master Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) because I would not won without his blessings, and I would like to note that this victory is not the first for me, but I have won many prizes previously although I did not make contests a priority, because I believe that serving the institution in which I work is an honor and better than seeking prizes."
