After completion of the infrastructure work, starting paving the roads of the al-Kafeel technical garage project.

After completion of all the infrastructure work of the al-Kafeel technical garage project in its five parts, the technical staff began the work related to paving the main and sub-roads, within the characteristics prepared for it, commensurate with the heavy weight vehicles for which this project is dedicated, as well as all matters set in its developed plans.

Eng. Dea' Majeed Al-Sa'egh, head of the Engineering Projects Department at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, assured the al-Kafeel Network that "this project is one of the major and strategic projects carried out by the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, and any project with such specifications and designs is subject to some delay in its implementation, mostly out of our control and the control of the two companies executing the project - both the land of Jerusalem General Contracting Limited and the al-Kafeel for public investments - which spared no effort in order to complete the project within the time-frames agreed upon and in respect of the technical and engineering specifications. And thank God, it is started to be seen to the people driving from Karbala to Najaf, by being one of the most important Industrial icons in the holy province of Karbala."

He added: "Today we have reached an important and complementary phase of the project, paving the roads after the completion of the infrastructure works; the sewage, water, rain, oil and fuel systems, etc. Paving the roads is executed according to technical specifications using the latest asphalt mixtures that ensure the comfort and safety of all users, in accordance with the size of such a project, and in accordance with the plans agreed with the implementing company that has developed a plan for the implementation of these works, and according to the five segments of the project and its main and subsidiary roads .”

Al-Sa'egh said, "These works are accompanied by the work of roads, pavements and foundations of the surrounding wall, and all work is proceeding in accordance with what was agreed upon and according to a pre-set plan. And God willing we will deliver it to the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine within time and in compliance with the technical and engineering specifications prepared for it."

It is noteworthy that the al-Kafeel technical garage is the first specialized garage established in Iraq according to international specifications of high quality. It is built on an area of 72.125 m2 and a building area of 42.000 m2, which has been divided into five parts:
