Pictures: The Spring holidays atmosphere at the two holy shrines.

As is the custom in time of seasonal holidays, Iraqi families from inside and outside the holy province of Karbala visit the holy shrines in different cities of Iraq, and their foremost the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them). The families accompanied by their children perform the Ziyarat rituals, investing the free time of the spring holiday the best possible way, spending beautiful moment next to these holy shrines.

The holy city has received thousands of visitors coming from different cities in Iraq as well as outside the country to perform the Ziyarat rituals of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them). The square between the two holy shrines is full of visitors, which movement is nonstop throughout the day, especially on Thursday and Friday.

The al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine broadcasted some educational and religious guidance messages through the loudspeakers in the square between the two holy shrines, and organized small religious lectures inside the holy shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) in addition to possibility of religious fatwa for the visitors any time of the day.

The service departments at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine prepared the basements and the places close the holy shrine by furnishing them with blankets and mattresses, for the accommodation of the visitors. The department has also prepared places for holding congregational prayer. The al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine has decided to postpone all maintenance work inside the holy shrine to not affect the visitors' movement, facilitating their entry and exit to the holy shrine.
