The al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine wins one of the prizes in the Hawza Annual Book Competition.

The al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine was ranked second in the 20th Hawza annual book competition, held in the holy city of Qom. The awarded book is "Qit'ah min Kitab al-Futuh" of the author Ibn A'tham al-Kufi, who died in 320 AH, and which was verified by Sheikh Qays al-'Attar and issued by the Center for the revival of the heritage of the Library and House of manuscripts of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine.

Dozens of verified heritage books from different Islamic and Arab countries, have participated. This book won the second prize, to shed the light on the series of achievements of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine in the previous editions of the competition.

In the past year, the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has won advanced awards in the same competition in the verification, writing and publishing. The Center for Heritage Revival has been awarded the first and second titles of its editions: Encyclopedia of Urdabadi (first prize), and the book "mukhtasar in Akhbar Mashaheer al-Talibiyah.." of Ibn al-Taqtaqi (second prize).
