Haj Basem al-Karbala'i donated the golden crown to the museum of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine.

The known Radood; Haj Basem al-Karbala'i has offered the crown given to him a few days ago by his fans in the holy city of Kadhemiyah to the Al-Kafeel Museum of Treasures and Manuscripts of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine. This crown was given to him as an expression and appreciation for his service to the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) over many years, chanting beautifully poems and elegies to commemorate either the birth or the martyrdom anniversaries of the members of the House of Prophecy (peace be upon them all).

Radood Haj Basem al-Karbala'i said that the true crowned ones are Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them). Therefore, he offered his crown to the Al-Kafeel Museum for the treasures and the manuscripts of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine. Stating: "The crown is to he who protects it" in sign for the Master Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him).

Basem al-Karbala'i explained: "The people of the procession surprised me with this gift, which I accepted but I was determined to give this precious piece to one of the museums of the two holy shrines in Karbala, because I believe that all the good that comes to me is from them, as they offered me the honor crown of the Hussayni service, which I am proud of."

At first, I was not sure to which one of the two holy shrines should I offer it to, so I did the Istikhara. The decision was made, and it was a marvelous coincidence that I am offering this gift to the museum of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine at the day of the martyrdom anniversary of the mother of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas; Lady Fatima Om al-Baneen (peace be upon both of them)."
