The al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine honors the winners of the contest of az-Zahra (peace be upon her) for the memorization of the Fadak sermon.

The al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine participated in honoring the winners of the competition of az-Zahra (peace be upon her) to memorize the Fadak sermon and the two sermons of Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her) in Kufa and the Levant, which is organized by the cultural foundation of Qamar Bani Hashem (peace be upon him), through its participation with an official delegation of the 11th annual festival, which was hosted by the Cultural Center in Basrah province on Saturday 16th of Jumada II 1440 AH corresponding to February 23, 2019, with the participation of 832 participants.

The ceremony, which was attended by a large number of delegations representing the holy shrines and the supreme religious authority, has included the word of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine delivered by Sayed Adnan al-Musawi from the Department of Religious Affairs.

There was also a speech by the representative of the supreme religious authority in the Kadhemiyah; Sheikh Hussein Al-Yassin, in which he spoke about this great occasion in the hearts of lovers and followers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), praising the establishment of such competitions urging the study and preservation of the heritage of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them). Also the General Secretariat of the Foundation Mr. Ayman Abdul Sada Kadhem welcomed the delegations of supreme religious authority and the offices of the Hawza in Najaf, as well as the delegations of the holy shrines, congratulating the winners for their victory. He also gave an explanation of the objectives of this competition.

The ceremony included the introduction of chanting psalmodies of the Radood Mohammed Al-Hujairat, as well as the establishment of theatrical performance about the sacrifices of the martyrs of the Fatwa of the sufficient duty of defense. The ceremony was concluded by the distribution of gifts and prizes to the winners.
