Women's Speech Division organizes ceremonies for girls who reached puberty within the celebrations of the birth anniversary of Lady Fatima (peace be upon her).

In conjunction with the auspicious birth anniversary of the Lady of Chastity, the immaculate Lady Fatima az-Zahra (peace be upon her), the Women's Speech Division at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine organized ceremonies in a number of schools in the province of Karbala in cooperation with their administrations to honor the girls who reached puberty, which is the age of starting to be mature in the Islamic teachings.

The al-Kafeel Global Network met with the assistant head of the Women's Speech Division, Ms. Taghreed Abdul-Khaleq Al-Tamimi, who stated: "The puberty stage is a fundamental transformation in the life of children. And that these ceremonies comes to celebrate this historic and joyful moment in the life of the girl, namely entering the age in which the girl becomes fully accountable for her deeds in front of the Almighty Allah and must abide by the Sharia, which are divided between the relationship with the Almighty Lord translated by the prayer, and the relationship with the community translated by the Hijab."

She continued: "The program of these ceremonies include many activities, such as:

- Lecture about the Hijab and its importance to the girl.

- The correct reading of the Surat al-Fatihah with the paragraphs of the interpretation of some verses supported by Quranic verses about Hijab.

- Lessons in the biography and narrations of the imams of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and relating them to reality.

- Juristic and other doctrinal lessons tailored to each age.

- Multiple other lessons.

The program also included the distribution of prayer clothes to the girls, and a blessing gift from the holy shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him)."
