The start of the annual international cultural festival of Rooh al-Nobowa [Prophethood’s Spirit].

Under the slogan "O Zahra, an appeal of redemption for the masterpiece of the heaven) and for the third year in a row, the annual international cultural festival of Rooh Nobowa [Prophethood's Spirit], which is held by the Division of the al-Kafeel women religious schools at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, to commemorate the auspicious birth anniversary of the Lady of the World's women; Lady Fatima az-Zahra (peace be upon her) on Thursday 22nd Jumada II 1440 AH corresponding to February 28, 2019 in the central hall of the Center of the Siddiqa at-Tahira (peace be upon her) of the holy shrine, in the presence and participation of local and international figures.

The opening ceremony of the festival witnessed the presence of the senior official of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, Sayed Ahmad al-Safi and its Secretary-General Eng. Mohammed Al-Ashigar in addition to several members of its Board of Directors.

After reciting verses from the Holy Quran and reading Al-Fatihah in memory of the martyrs of Iraq, and listening to the anthem of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, there was a word for the senior official of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Sayed Ahmad al-Safi on this occasion. He started by offering congratulations to all Muslims, lovers and followers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) on the birth anniversary of Lady Fatima az-Zahra (peace be upon him), asking the Almighty God by her intercession, her father, her husband and her children, to bestow upon all of us her blessings, aspiring that we might receive her intercession on that day in which we need the best of intercessions.

His word was followed by recitation of the Holy Quran performed by a group of girls studying the Holy Quran Institute for Women, followed by a theatrical work of the students of the school of Noor Abbas (peace be upon him) embodying the patience and altruism of a martyr's son, and how he studied hard and took his father as example for his life to face the orphanhood and overcome its difficulties and turn it into something he is proud of.

Then the poet Dr. Ahmed al-'Alyawi presented a poem about the birth anniversary of Lady Fatima az-Zahra (peace be upon her).

The martyrs were then honored through honoring the wives and mothers of martyrs who sacrificed themselves for the soil of this dear country.

Then the attendees went to the opening of the exhibition of artistic activities of the winners in the artistic competition launched by the organizing committee of the festival: (the most beautiful artistic shot, the most beautiful artwork, the most beautiful calligraphy, the most beautiful painting, the most beautiful photo).
