The Division of the al-Kafeel Women's Religious Schools organizes an exhibition for the calligraphy, decoration and plastic arts.

The Division of the al-Kafeel Women's Religious Schools at te al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine organized an exhibition for the calligraphy, decoration and plastic arts in the Center of the Siddiqa al-Tahira (Peace be upon her) as part of the Third Annual International Cultural Festival of Rooh al-Nobowa, with the participation of a number of school students, as well as other participants in this competition.

The exhibition which was opened by the Senior Official of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; his eminence Sayed. Ahmad al-Safi, had many participations, including: paintings, calligraphy, handwork and photographs.

Mrs. Bushra al-Kinani, Director of the al-Kafeel Women Religious Schools, said: "The comprehensive art exhibition is one of the activities of the festival. The participations were distinguished by their diversity and beauty, all of which reflect an evolution in women's artistic performance and production, whether the artistic works participating in the competition or those of the schools' students. The exhibition was divided into four pavilions for Arabic calligraphy, Islamic decoration, fine arts and ceramics and handmade works. "

She added: "As for the competition, we have received several artistic contributions according to each axis of the competition, which were presented to a special committee to sort out the winning works and works to be displayed at the exhibition. The Committee has set conditions for participation, including: Taking into account the public taste, the respect of the specificity of the sponsoring body and being inspired by the title and logo of the festival.

The Committee has identified prizes for the winners for each axis of the competition, in addition to a certificate of participation for all other participants. The three winners are:

- Zahraa Abbas Khudair from Iraq, winner of the most beautiful painting.

- Hind Sajjad al-Musawi from Iraq, winner of the most beautiful photography.

- Azhra Sharka', President of the Association of Calligraphers of the Islamic Republic of Iran, winner of the most beautiful calligraphy painting.
