The al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine hosts a delegation of students and professors of the Education Faculty Ibn al-Haitham.

The weekly meeting of university professors and students, organized by the University Relations Division at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine within the al-Kafeel National project for Youth, is one of many activities and events prepared for the academic and universities arena to which the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine gives great attention.

A delegation of professors and students of the Faculty of Education / Ibn al-Haytham in Baghdad University was the guest of the holy shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), and the servants of the holy shrine in the Division of university relations welcomed them according to the program prepared to receive student groups, including:

- Performing the rituals of the Ziyarat and supplication collectively in the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them).

- A tour of a number of departments and divisions of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, including the gifts and vows department, and the Library and House of Manuscripts, the 'Afaf Shopping Center and the Nursery of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine.

- A discussion session entitled: (university student and contemporary challenges) delivered by Sayed. Mohammed Abdullah al-Mousawi from the Department of Religious Affairs.

The visit was concluded with a tour of the visitors' city of the Master of Guardians (peace be upon him) of the Imam al-Hussayn's (p) holy shrine to take some commemorative pictures there.

It is noteworthy that the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has devoted a large part of its concerns to the universities, and has devoted and prepared for this purpose many programs and projects, including those aiming the teaching staff and others for university students. And the program of the Cultural Forum is one of the many programs of the Holy Shrine.
