The al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine honors a group of the martyrs' families of the popular mobilization.

The al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine continues remembering the martyrs of Iraq who sacrificed their lives for the sake of Iraq and its holy sites. The Center for Family Culture has honored a number of the martyrs' families of the popular mobilization through the celebration held in the central hall of the Center as-Siddiqa at-Tahira (peace be upon her) on Thursday afternoon the 29th of Jumada II 1440 AH corresponding to March 7, 2019, on the first anniversary of the establishment of the Center, in the presence of the Senior Official of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Sayed Ahmed al-Safi, its Secretary-General Eng. Mohammed Al-Ashigar and a number of members of its distinguished Board of Directors.

The honor that was allocated to this group was in form of financial help and blessing gifts from the holy shrine, presented by the Senior Official of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Sayed Ahmad al-Safi.

This honor is part of the approach taken by the Center since its inception. The Center has devoted many of its programs to the families and children of the martyrs of the security forces and the popular mobilization, in an effort to pay attention to them and developing their scientific and cultural levels.

On the other hand, these families thanked the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, represented by the Center for Family Culture, which has become a tradition at the institutions of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine.
