The Iranian President is honoured to visit the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him)

The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran; Sheikh Hassan Rouhani, was honored to visit the Holy Shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), accompanied by the governor of Karbala; Mr. 'Aqeel al-Turayhi on today's afternoon; the 4th Rajab 1440 AH corresponding to March 12, 2019.

On the arrival of the Iranian President to the shrine, he was received by the Secretary-General of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine; Eng. Muhammad Al-Ashigar and a number of the members of its Board of Directors. Then he performed the rituals of the Ziyarat of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) .

After that, the servants of the holy shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) bid farewell to the Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, in the same way they welcomed him, which is their tradition in welcoming all his guests, regardless of their positions and status.

At the end of his visit, the Iranian president thanked the servants of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine for the urban development inside and outside the holy shrine, praying for them to be steadfast in their work and then he headed to visit the shrine of Sayyid al-Shuhada [the Master of Martyrs] Aba Abdillah al-Hussayn (peace be upon him).
