Postponement of the seventh annual festival of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) in India.

Due to the current situation between the Islamic republic of Pakistan and India, the central government of the Republic of India has issued a decree revoking all foreign travel visas to the Indian province of Jammu and Kashmir.

This means that the seventh edition of the festival of the commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) in India, which was to be held in Srinagar, the capital of the region, with the participation of the holy shrines in Iraq, as well as the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine that sponsors the festival, cannot be held this year.

Therefore, the General Secretariat of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine declares to the faithful brothers in India and Iraq, not to establish the festival this year and postpone it for next year, God willing.
